Where did I get a 12" Time Traveler you ask? Well, luckily, I had a friend who attended the summer 2000 Wonder Festival held in Tokyo Japan, and this is where it came from! Actually, this is a reproduction Henshin Cyborg figure, modified with a fan made M-10X Microman accessory conversion kit. This kit was sold at the Wonder Festival that year, made by Side Stripes Toy D.I.V., under licence from Takara. At times, Takara will grant a temporary licence to fans or small companies to produce items such as this. Which is great, because this kit allows you to "macro-size" a Microman!

The kit basically consists of the 1/6th scale M-10X Microman head and chestplate. These pieces were specifically designed to fit onto the 12" Henshin Cyborg figure. One style head was sculpted (the basic Microman M-10X head) as were the four different chestplates, each chromed and done in their respective colors. The head is a 2-piece part, which slips easily over the neck slot of the Cyborg when the original head is removed, and screwed together to hold in place. The backside of the chestplate is molded to fit onto the Cyborgs torso, and gently snaps into place. (The kit also came with a white plastic cuff for the wrists, missing from this one.)

A very cool and professional custom for an already cool figure!
