Brand new from Micronaut collector and customizer Vincent Garma comes the Acromantid

"The Acromantid was an abomination created during a brief period when the Acroyears and the Aliens had a truce and banded together in an attempt to destroy all Micronauts because the main obstacle of both the Acroyears and the Aliens were the Micronauts. Each of these enemy factions planned on turning the creation on the other after the Micronauts were eliminated. The Acromantid was created by combining the DNA of two of the most ferocious fallen warriors of both the Acroyears and the Kronos. The result was the horrific, blood-thirsty, and uncontrollable Acromantid."

"Due to it's body armor that is a combination of Acroyear armor and Kronos exoskeleton, this creture is virtually indestructable. The creature that was created to be the champion of the Aliens and the Acroyear started devouring indescriminately Acroyears, Aliens, and Micronauts. No one was safe. There were unknown amounts of casualties, but the number of dead is estimated to be very high. Unfortunately, the Acromantid devours it's victims and oftens leaves little trace. One thing is known and that is that the Acromantid is a voracious and seemingly insatiable eater. "

"In the end no one knows what happened to this creature known as the Acromantid. It is rumored that the Acroyear were able to contain it, but were unable to destroy it so it was shot out into space in a specially built containment capsule. It is also said that it may have been ultimately destoryed by new experimental alien technology. The whereabouts of the Acromantid are currently unknown."

The parts to the Acromantid are pretty varied: 1. Zoids Demantis model kit used for the head, forearms and wing parts, 2. Command 3 used torso and groin area, 3. Micro devilman WCC exclusive used for upper legs and arms (Time Traveller parts could be used instead, the Devilman exclusive was used for the dark metallic color), 4. Acroyear Demon used for the lower legs, 5. Beta Midget ball joint with peg used to connect the head to the body, 6. Space Glider wing pack (dashwing) The Demantis parts were dremelled and glues to fit together for the head. Vince used the chasis for the under side of the head. Acroyear legs were drilled out and the Devilman legs were made to slip into the hole and then glued. For the most part Vince did a lot of drilling, dremelling and gluing to create this creature.

A great new custom figure to add to the ever changing and interchangeable world that is the Micronauts. Many thanks to Vince Garma who supplied both the images and the text!
