Catalog #2 (1976) took on a new twist. It was a 4 fold pamphlet, each page fold measuring 4"x5", and played up the interchangeability factor to the hilt. The cover simply read "The Interchangeable World of the Micronauts", and when you opened it up, you knew why. The first page took 2 of the items, and showed the many different combinations that a child could make when he used his imagination. This was one of the major keys to the Micronauts success. Switching around the parts from 2 toys, one could make many different toys. The second page added 2 more items, and showed what you could come up with, and so on and so on. The fifth page showed all the individual items that were sold, and the last sixth page was a huge display showing all the toys in different configurations. With pictures like that, how could a kid not beg his parents for the entire collection? Notes of interest: the Galactic Cruiser shown has the one-barrel missile launcher, and also included in the last page is the never released Gyrotron.
