With
the release of the Series 2 Micronauts, a companion piece to the gold
Baron Karza and Andromeda set was inevitable...but which Magno figure
should it be? A very easy choice indeed, as the Red Falcon figure was
quickly decided upon. Dubbed the "gift" set,
it was a shocking announcement to other collectors who had thoughtlessly
contributed loose figures for Palisades Series 2 production, and was to
be given to them as a thank you for all their help! The Series 1 Karza
set unfortunately was subjected to the incompetence of the first production
factory, and instead of being cast in gold colored plastic, it was painted
in gold. Still a nice looking figure, but not the original intent. With
the new factory's superior production, the "gold" Falcon is
properly cast in gold and clear plastic, and is a very stunning piece
indeed.
