In today's
toy marketplace, sticker sheets are unfortunately a thing of the past.
They have since been replaced with painted on details. The painted on details are fine, because long after the stickers have peeled off, the paint will still be there. The Micronauts vehicles, ships and some boxed figures all came with sticker sheets, and was just another important part of playing with the toy; the fact that you could customize the look of the toy yourself by applying the stickers where you wanted. You didn't have to go by what the factory told you...you made the toys look all your own. That's something that painted on details can't replace. Here you will find a database of all those sticker sheets, all printable for your customizing purposes. Most all the Mego sticker sheets were copied from their respective Microman counterparts, with Mego making some usual minor changes (as did the Inter-changeables). They mostly removed any Japanese writing and/or coloring over the Japanese versions toy name. Click on the names below, and you can go look at what that particular toys sticker sheet looked like, or print yourself out a copy. So next time you get that loose Photon Sled missing the decorations it needs, you'll know where to come... |
