When you have heroes, you inevitably must have villains too. The evil race of beings battling the Micronauts began as the Acroyears. Later on down the line, since there were only two different sets of Acroyears to five sets of good guys, more baddies were introduced. The Acroyears were based on their Microman counterparts, while the 2 series of Alien figures were all Mego creations. There were many different 3 3/4" Acroyear figures in the Takara Microman line. Sadly, we only saw two of them emerge as Micronauts. But we made up for it with the 6 different Alien creatures created by Mego. The Aliens also had their own line of vehicles and ships that were a departure from the original line, but still highly detailed and articulated. It would have been interesting to see where the Micronauts would have went , had Mego not gone under. Here is a look at the bad guys in the Micronauts line. They have been broken down into two different categories: "The Bad" for a look at the Acroyears, "...& The Ugly" for a glimpse at the Aliens. Click on the links below to see the different evil doers.
